This studio was built from the ground up with one goal in mind: deliver consistent, broadcast-quality audio in a controlled, reliable environment.

Every element of the build was carefully engineered for true sound isolation—not just acoustic treatment. The structure features double-wall construction with a 2-inch air gap, fully decoupled walls and ceiling, and dual layers of 5/8" drywall with Green Glue damping throughout. High-density Rockwool insulation and spray foam beneath the floor add additional layers of isolation, minimizing both airborne and structure-borne noise.

A fully isolated ceiling system with a 12-inch drop and resilient channel mounting reduces vibration and external noise from weather, while a custom-designed HVAC baffle system allows for airflow without introducing sound into the space. Ducting is integrated within the wall structure to maintain comfort during long sessions while keeping the recording environment quiet.

The floating floor system—built with rubber isolation, layered plywood, and Green Glue—further decouples the booth from the structure below, helping eliminate vibration and unwanted noise transfer. Even critical weak points like doors and windows were addressed, with a dual-door system and triple-glazed window design that maintain isolation while allowing visibility and natural light.

Inside the booth, the environment is designed for both performance and comfort—never closed-in, but fully controlled. Outside the booth, a dedicated monitoring and editing station allows for accurate playback in a real-world listening environment, ensuring every read translates cleanly across all platforms. This setup also supports full production and podcasting workflows when needed.
